Adventure of being you,

Unplugged retreat is it for you?

Join Callie at the unplugged retreat, enjoying the adventure of  being you. This adventure starts with the decision to make a change.

The processing capacity of the conscious mind has been estimated at 120 bits per second. Our brains do have the ability to process the information we take in, but at a cost. We’ve created a world with 300 exabytes (300,000,000,000,000,000,000 pieces) of human-made information. By 2025, it’s estimated that 463 exabytes of data will be created each day globally. That’s the equivalent of 212,765,957 DVDs per day!

It is no surprise then that you are exhausted come the end of your day and subsequently with electricity, we stay up later and get up earlier. Therefore an unplugged retreat is just what you need.

If we use the analogy of a smartphone for example, your conscious mind is the app you see on the screen. The subconscious mind is the programme that is running it in the background. Just like a smartphone, we are prone to viruses and so we must upgrade our programmes (subconscious mind).

What will you be doing?

At the adventure of being you unplugged retreat, we are going to recharge. Unplug from the overwhelming amount of data we are exposed to and do a bit of an upgrade on our subconscious. All of this is going to happen in a beautiful environment that is steeped in nature, peace and tranquillity that is Areena Riverside Resort.

I feel one of my life’s purposes is to make use of my nurturing and healing gifts to serve myself and others in a joyful and accepting way. I believe that everyone is a unique and wonderful gift to the world. What that gift is, has just gotten lost under all the wrapping you have covered yourself with over time.
