Nola’s 90th celebration

January 2020 saw us celebrating Nola Rathbones 90th birthday. Nola, Ed Rathbones energetic and spritely mum, celebrated her birthday at Areena, surrounded by family and friends. Nola decided to mark her 90th birthday with some adventure and chose to take part in the zip line activity on the day.
Nola is no novice to adrenaline activities, at 80 she did a tandem skydive at the East London air show, to the wonderment of her family and friends.
Her motto of: ‘if you believe you can do it, you can, no matter what anybody else says’ is an inspiration to all who meet her. Nola is a true gem, a delightful, happy and adventurous soul, full of amazing stories to share of a life lived to the fullest, whom I am honoured to know.
