Based on the banks of the Kwelera River the Kwelera River Rats aim is to promote conservation of the estuary and surrounding area, safe water sport .To abide by local authority requirements and local land owner requests. To conserve the natural resource for future generations.TO HAVE FUN

AIMS & OBJECTIVES
To promote watersport as a safe family activity
To conserve the natural resource of estuary and surrounding environment
Together with the authorities to assist in the control of the correct use of the river.
To assist and educate those using the estuary of the importance of sustainable resource.
To arrange clinics and gatherings at our venue to encourage outdoor activity.(Boating,birding,wild life)
To act as a catalyst between the power boaters and anglers.
To have Fun
MEMBERSHIP
RESIDENT RATS Areena permanent residents and club members
VISITING RATS Temporary membership while visiting the resort.
FEES
Annual family subscription of R50.00 to cover admin costs etc.
Visitors a once off R10,00 per person per stay (to partake in activities)
