Areena Holiday Club Sept 2019

With much excitement, we ran our first of many Daily Holiday Clubs during the September 2019 school holidays at Areena. The children experienced the Adventure activities such as paint ball target shooting, pellet gun target shooting, low ropes course and hiking, lots of fun was had by all.
Tarzan our adventure guide taught them how to make their own raft and Colleen aka Jellyfish, led the happy little band who on the survivor themed day, named themselves ‘Areena Army’.
Not only did they do loads of adventure activities, Colleen shared her knowledge about animals in the game reserve, especially Abby our famous giraffe, whom they all got to meet. Part of the ‘Enviro’ day was about keeping our river clean, everyone took part in a successful river clean-up, which entailed a canoe down the river to collect litter and they also learned about how the litter is creating garbage patches around the world.
